More Information
The Tree Board's invasive species removal team meets weekly to remove invasive plants from Hillsborough’s public spaces and to plant native plants in public spaces.
The team gathers for two hours most Wednesdays, meeting in the afternoon in cooler months and in the morning during the summer. A Saturday workday takes place following the Tree Board meeting on the third Wednesday of the month. Volunteers bring loppers and shears to remove plants during removal season and shovels and trowels to plant during planting season.
