Kings Highway Park is currently closed for repairs.   

Hours: 7 a.m. until 30 minutes after sunset.   

Kings Highway Park is an 18-acre natural area surrounded in part by Lake Ben Johnston. The park's canoe and kayak launch is a floating dock that can be used to place watercraft into the Eno River upstream of the Lake Ben Johnston Dam. 

The park was developed by volunteers and has almost 1 mile of nature trails. Its name is based a river ford and historic road known as King’s Highway that once were on the property. See the park's master plan for planned improvements.
