Traffic and parking in downtown Hillsborough will be impacted next Saturday, April 25, for an event expected to draw over 400 participants.

The Wooden Nickel Pub plans to host Zwanze Day, a special beer release event coordinated by Cantillon Brewery of Belgium, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Due to the event’s size, part of the King Street parking lot will be closed, including the one-way entrance from King Street into the lot. Downtown visitors are encouraged to park in the free Eno River Public Parking Deck.  

The Wooden Nickel is one of 31 locations in the United States, and the only location in North Carolina, to host this event. The free event requires registration for select beers.
