Due to hazardous road conditions, town offices will be closed to the public until 11 a.m. Tuesday, and Monday and Tuesday garbage collection routes will be combined on Tuesday.

Town parks and greenways will open to the public later this week once conditions are safe.

Pipes

Temperatures are expected to be cold overnight all week. Roads are expected to refreeze, and pipes could freeze or burst. See the Cold Weather Resources page for safety tips, including how to prevent your pipes from freezing.

Broken water lines or any water or sewer emergency should be reported right away to the Hillsborough Water Treatment Plant. Call 919-732-3621 any time, day or night. 

As of 2 p.m. Sunday, no broken water lines had been reported over the weekend.
