Join the Hillsborough Police Department for the annual Easter egg hunt and costume contest for dogs Saturday, March 28.

The fun begins at 2 p.m. in Gold Park, 415 Dimmocks Mill Road with a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to dogs with the best Easter costumes. Then dogs will have an opportunity to search for treat-filled eggs, with a separate search area available for senior and small dogs. Be sure to bring a basket for your dog’s collected eggs!

All animals must be non-aggressive, current on vaccines, and leashed at all times. Participants will be required to sign a waiver and release form.

Top Dog Training & Resort will bring an agility course for your dog to try. A raffle will offer you a chance at winning free training certificates.

Interested in providing a home for a dog? Orange County Animal Services will be on site with  some of the many dogs available for adoption.
