The Town of Hillsborough is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to manage federal public and mitigation assistance following a declared disaster incident, Tropical Depression Chantal.
The consultant will provide comprehensive post-disaster management services to support compliance, funding, reporting and closeout of applicable state and federal programs. The scope of work includes:
- Providing knowledge and technical expertise in federal and state disaster recovery regulations.
- Developing and maintaining efficient processes for preparing and submitting applications, identifying eligible projects, capturing and reconciling costs, and closing out projects.
- Meeting with town, county, state and federal representatives to address programmatic, financial, contracting and compliance issues.
- Preparing mitigation proposals, grant applications, benefit-cost analyses and related documentation.
