Sealed proposals for the renovation of the Town of Hillsborough’s Adron F. Thompson Facility will be received until 3 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Town Hall Annex conference room, 105 E. Corbin St., Hillsborough, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 6 at the project site, 715 Dimmocks Mill Road, Hillsborough. Interested bidders will be able to tour the facility with the owner and design team.
An additional optional site visit will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 15 for those who wish to view existing conditions during the bid process.
Work includes the renovating the 2,400-square-foot interior of the existing facility; demolishing a previous 1,200-square-foot wood framed addition; replacing the previous addition a new 5,000-square-foot two-story addition for offices and parts storage. A 5,570-square-foot pre-engineered vehicle storage building will be bid as an alternate.

The Town of Hillsborough reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
