Hillsborough's police dogs help combat and deter crime as well as build relations with the community. They may be used to:

  • Capture criminal suspects.
  • Locate illegal narcotics.
  • Protect officers.
  • Search buildings.
  • Track and search for missing persons, suspects or evidence.
