Robb English was elected to a full term as commissioner in 2021 after being appointed to fill a vacant seat in 2019. He has been a Hillsborough resident since 1998 and a resident of the Cornwallis Hills neighborhood since 2002.

English has a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation and a master’s degree in recreation administration from Florida State University. He and his wife, Julie, have two adult daughters, Lydia and Ella.

English enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with family. He also enjoys a number of outdoor activities, including walks with his Labrador retriever Lucy, gardening, hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking and canoeing.

English represents the town in the following capacities:
