Effective Communication — The town will provide auxiliary aids and services upon request to provide effective communication for people with disabilities, including qualified sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, documents in Braille, and other methods of making communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.

Service Animals — People with service animals are welcome in Town of Hillsborough offices, even where pets and other animals are prohibited.

Special Solid Waste Collection — The town provides special garbage collection for residents with disabilities who live alone or have no able-bodied person in the household. See the Garbage Collection page.
