Government 101

The town offers a multiweek course aimed at helping community members increase their knowledge of town government, as well as their interest and ability in influencing and participating in town decisions. The next course will be offered in Fall 2024. The application period will open in August 2024.
Objectives
The objectives of the program are to:
- Increase community members' knowledge, interest and ability to influence and participate in town government.
- Reduce barriers to participating in and influencing town government decisions through increased understanding of key processes and operations.
- Assist in building community members' interest in serving the community through future service.
- Learn from community members attending the course.
Application
The application period for Fall 2024 will open in August.
