Planning Board

The Planning Board reviews planning issues within the town's zoning jurisdiction. The board reviews and makes recommendations on rezonings, subdivisions and ordinance amendments.
All meetings are open to the public.
For more information, contact Planning and Economic Development Manager Shannan Campbell by email or by phone at 919-296-9477.
Three of the board's members are appointed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners to represent residents of the town's extraterritorial jurisdiction. This is an area just outside town limits, established by an agreement between the town and county, in which the town has zoning jurisdiction. For more information, see the jurisdiction and service areas page.
