Other Adopted Plans
Below are plans adopted by the town in addition to the Compehensive Plan.
Rail Station Small Area Plan
The Rail Station Small Area Plan is a conceptual site and land use plan for 20 acres owned by the town off of Orange Grove Street. Proposed land uses are a rail station building with space for municipal meetings and a police station; a fire station; and space for a civic arts center. On the eastern portion of the site, high-density commercial and residential land uses are suggested. Additionally, a general transportation network and set of land uses is proposed for adjacent property known as the Collins property.
Downtown Parking Study
The Downtown Parking Study aimed to measure the parking situation, project the effects of future development on parking availability and accessibility and develop recommendations to improve downtown parking to meet the needs of downtown business owners, customers and visitors.
Wayfinding Signage Plan
The Wayfinding Signage Plan is a coordinated directional and destination signage system that celebrates the character and heritage of Hillsborough.
