The Public Information Office is responsible for disseminating information from the town to citizens and the media.
Office staff write and distribute news releases for the town administration, boards, and all departments and divisions.
Citizens and media can subscribe to distribution lists to have various types of releases delivered by email.
This website serves as a citizen's guide to the town's government and services. Additionally, the front page of this website includes news alerts and links to recent news releases. The Emergency Information page includes information on what to do in case of severe weather or a disaster.

Government access channel
Hillsborough Gov TV 97-4 provides Time Warner Cable customers with information on meetings, service changes and other government action. Customers who use a digital converter box will find Hillsborough Gov TV on channel 18.
The provision of a town government channel is a condition of the town’s cable franchise with Spectrum.
The town makes employees available for informational broadcasts on WHUP 104.7 FM.
