Details:
The boards members will meet in joint session with the town board to collect public comment on the posted agenda items. Orange County is requesting amendments to the Future Land Use Plan and Zoning Map to facilitate a land swap with a neighbor for property recently acquired on US 70 near the highway patrol station. Two property owners on Valley Forge Road and NC 86 are requesting amendments to the Future Land Use Plan and Zoning Map to ease the joint development of the two parcels for flex space. Three amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance are also up for discussion to amend the uses allowed in various non-residential districts, to remove the steep slope provisions in the ordinance, and to remove the Parks and Recreation Board from the subdivision review process.
