Details:
The agenda for the upcoming joint public hearing has been released. The boards will hear public comment on a rezoning request at the southeast corner of Oakdale Dr. and S. Churton St., a special use permit request for Hillsborough Chrysler Dodge Jeep + Ram to relocate to NC 86, and two amendments to the Unified Development Code. Following the public hearing, the members will discuss the potential process and schedule for updating the Vision 2030 plan. The public is encouraged to attend the hearing and comment on agenda items. The special use permit is a quasi-judicial review and requires speakers to be present and be sworn in before offering comments. The other agenda items are legislative and comments can be provided in writing or in person. The boards do not make decisions regarding applications at this meeting. The items will be further reviewed by the Planning Board on August 15 with the earliest Town Board action on September 9.
