Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners is conducting its regular meeting virtually on April 13, 2020 utilizing Zoom. Members of the Board of Commissioners will be participating in the meeting remotely. The agenda is available now on the town website and includes instructions for members of the public to view and listen to the meeting via live streaming on the Town of Hillsborough YouTube channel. The Board of Commissioners will consider amending an ordinance authorizing the board to waive penalties for utility bills, occupancy taxes and food and beverage taxes, a funding request from Habitat for Humanity, and an interlocal agreement with NCDOT and Go Triangle related to the train station property development. The board will also continue its Comprehensive Sustainability Plan discussion and provide guidance and direction to staff.
