Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners is conducting its regular meeting remotely on Jan. 11, 2021 utilizing Zoom. The agenda is available now on the town website and includes instructions for public comment and for members of the public to view and listen to the meeting via live streaming on the Town of Hillsborough YouTube channel. Town Manager Eric Peterson will present service milestone awards to town employees who celebrated a five-year service milestone in 2020. The board will consider a proclamation declaring January as National Mentoring Month and a proclamation declaring Jan. 12 as Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett Day in Hillsborough. The board will reconsider an order to close two unopened rights of way on the west side of Lakeshore Drive, discuss options for a loading zone and 15-minute parking on West King Street, and consider an ordinance prohibiting discrimination in the Hillsborough town limits.
