Dog Park Fully Reopens
Friday, July 28, 2017
The entire Gold Park dog park has reopened after suffering flood damage in June.
One section of the dog park reopened last week after workers removed debris, replaced mulch and made fence repairs. More extensive fence replacement was needed before the second section could be opened.
The town Parks and Recreation Board is considering design changes for the dog park after it was damaged by flooding three times in the past year. For more information, contact Public Space Manager Stephanie Trueblood by email or at 919-296-9481. Trueblood provides staff support for the board.
Gold Park is located at 415 Dimmocks Mill Road. For more information on Hillsborough parks, see the recreation facilities page on the town’s website.
