Learn About New Recognition Program in Latest Stormwater Almanac
Magnolia Place Homeowners Association was among those recognized by the town for excellence in stormwater control.

The latest issue of The Town of Hillsborough’s Stormwater Almanac features information about a new property owner recognition program.

The program recognizes property owners with an outstanding compliance record in maintaining their stormwater control measures. These property owners have a long-term record of on-time inspection reports and overall excellence in stormwater compliance. All property owners who maintain their stormwater control measures are eligible for the recognition program, which will be conducted annually.

Stormwater control measures — referred to as SCMs — are areas of the property engineered to capture and treat stormwater runoff. They are required by town regulations in order to develop a property.

This year’s outstanding property owners include the Magnolia Place Homeowners Association, Orange County ABC Board and The PLJ Group II Inc. For more information, see the Stormwater Almanac.

The Stormwater Almanac is created by the town’s Stormwater and Environmental Services Division. For more information, contact Stormwater Coordinator Heather Fisher by email or by phone at 919-296-9622.
