Learn About Sidewalk Project Through Video, Meeting
Hillsborough Public Space Manager Stephanie Trueblood explains a town project to create and improve sidewalk connections in West Hillsborough and the commercial area of South Nash Street in a newly released video.

The Town of Hillsborough has created a video outlining the upcoming West Hillsborough Sidewalk Connections Project.

The video, available on the town’s YouTube channel, outlines the project, which is expected to begin construction Monday.

The project will increase pedestrian safety and visibility and improve connectivity by creating and improving sidewalk connections in West Hillsborough and the commercial area of South Nash Street. The improvements will increase accessibility and be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The town estimates that the project will be completed in December.

A public informational meeting on the project is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Town Barn, 101 E. Orange St. Parking is accessible from East Corbin Street.

For more information, see the project page on the town website or contact Hillsborough Public Space Manager Stephanie Trueblood by email or at 919-296-9481.
