Police Seek Painted Rocks for Pollinator Garden
Children in Hillsborough are invited to decorate rocks of all sizes for display behind the police station's headquarters.
Hillsborough police are on the hunt for some rocks, and their primary targets are kids in Hillsborough.
The Hillsborough Police Department invites children to decorate rocks of all sizes for placement in the pollinator garden behind the police station’s headquarters, 127 N. Churton St. The donated rocks can be placed in a basket outside the front doors of the station.
Children interested in being featured in a post on the department’s Facebook page can include some brief information with their rock, like first name, hobbies, and what they want to be when they grow up.
If the department receives more rocks than can be used, some rocks will be donated to other pollinator gardens in town.
