Police Identify 3 Suspects in Armed Robbery

Hillsborough police have secured warrants for the arrest of three suspects who have been identified as carrying out an armed robbery yesterday afternoon at Waffle House in Hillsborough.
Named in the warrants are:
- Tamiko Lashun Jones of Marshall, Texas.
- Tony Eugene Lemon of Marshall, Texas.
- Diamond Walton of Longview, Texas.
They each are charged with:
- Robbery with a dangerous weapon.
- Conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
- Defrauding an inn keeper.
Additional charges could be filed in the robbery that took place July 11 at the restaurant at 110 Daniel Boone St. The three suspects have similar outstanding charges from Minden, Louisiana, from a few days prior.
The suspects were part of a family of six who entered Waffle House and sat down for a meal prior to the robbery occurring. After a brief meal, Lemon reportedly took out a handgun and demanded money from the restaurant employees before fleeing to a nearby gas station, Daniel Boone Shell Service Center at 381 S. Churton St., where he was parked.
The suspects left in two separate cars, one of which is a burgundy Ford F-150 truck with Texas plates and the other which is believed to be a newer model silver Ford Fusion sedan also with Texas plates. Both vehicles were seen traveling on Interstate 85 north immediately following the robbery. The suspects made claims that they were headed north to parts of Virginia. Those involved are suspected to be armed and dangerous.
