Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Alan Mintz has attracted pollinators to the Wastewater Treatment Plant by planting more than a dozen types of pollinator-friendly plants such as bergamot, butterfly weed, blue salvia, tickseed, mountain mint, oregano and black-eyed Susans.

The Town of Hillsborough has been recognized with an award for resident satisfaction based on the results of its community survey.

Bin It. Don't Block It.

Our neighbors on the other side of the Atlantic have a message applicable to us: "Bin it. Don't block it." Make sure to only flush pee, poo and toilet paper down the toilet. Anything else can clog pipes and lead to overflows. This includes so-called flushable wipes, tampons and tissues. Trash it. Don't flush it!
