The Town of Hillsborough is seeking nominations to recognize employees for exceptional contributions, ideas and endurance that have resulted in providing superior service or cost savings to community members.
Solarize the Triangle to Launch Group-Purchase Program
The Triangle Sustainability Partnership is providing an opportunity for solar energy system installation on buildings in Orange County at a group-purchase rate.
Don't Miss the August Issue of Talk of the Town
The community newsletter is mailed monthly with water and sewer bills and is also available in the Communications section of the town website.
Hillsborough Wins Resident Satisfaction Award
The Town of Hillsborough has been recognized with an award for resident satisfaction based on the results of its community survey.
Bin It. Don't Block It.
Our neighbors on the other side of the Atlantic have a message applicable to us: "Bin it. Don't block it." Make sure to only flush pee, poo and toilet paper down the toilet. Anything else can clog pipes and lead to overflows. This includes so-called flushable wipes, tampons and tissues. Trash it. Don't flush it!
