The subcontractor plans to mill and resurface the first block in one night, starting at 9 p.m. June 11 and finishing by 6 a.m. June 12. The first block will be closed while the crews are working.
Milling and resurfacing the rest of West King Street from Wake Street to West Hill Avenue will be done during the day. One lane will be closed at a time to allow vehicles to pass by the roadwork.
Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to pay attention to safety signage and any signaling or flagging.
