Police Investigating Thanksgiving Shooting
A Burlington man was shot on Spruce Street in what is believed to be an isolated incident

Hillsborough police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Thanksgiving in the central part of town injuring a man.
Police responded just after 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, to UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus, where a man had admitted himself for a gunshot wound to the back. Investigators have learned a 33-year-old Burlington man was shot on Spruce Street. He is in stable condition.
The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.
